The provider of products and services sold in this online store is Metsä-Nummelan Tila, (1523621-9), and these terms and conditions apply to the offering of products and services.

Booking
These terms apply to all rentable and bookable products and services offered by Metsä-Nummelan Tila (hereafter referred to as the property or service).
Customers are responsible for reviewing the description, instructions, and conditions of the selected service before making a booking.
A booking becomes binding once an order or payment confirmation has been sent to the customer’s email address.
Payments must be made according to the selected payment method and its terms.
If a booking fails due to a technical issue, the customer must contact Metsä-Nummelan Tila as soon as possible. If the selected date is no longer available, an alternative date will be offered whenever possible. If no suitable date can be found and payment has already been made, the payment will be refunded.

Payment
We use reliable and secure payment providers.
Metsä-Nummelan Tila does not store bank or credit card information at any stage.
Invoices are available only for companies and organizations and must be paid by the due date. Accommodation invoices must be paid before the stay begins.
If an invoice is not paid by the due date, interest may be applied and the claim may be transferred to a collection agency.
If a payment has not been successfully completed at the time of booking, the order will not be processed.

Cancellations and Returns
Return rights do not apply to accommodation services, restaurant services, or other leisure services booked for a specific date.
Gift cards are non-refundable.

General Terms
All prices shown on the website include VAT.
Accommodation prices may vary depending on the season, date, or demand (dynamic pricing).
We sell services to adult private customers and business customers.
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
Customer contact information may be used for marketing purposes unless the customer opts out. Customer data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
We reserve the right to change these terms. Customers must review the current terms before making a booking.

Keys and Access
Door codes or key box codes will be provided with the booking confirmation.
Keys must be returned to the same key box where they were collected. The key boxes are located in the service building in the yard area.
Lost or unreturned keys may result in charges for lock replacement or rekeying, with a minimum charge of €80.

Customer Responsibility

Use of the Property
The property and its facilities are described in the property description.
Quiet hours apply from 23:00 to 07:00.
During the rental period, the customer has the right to use the booked property, its equipment, and separately specified services during the time stated in the booking.
If the customer notices any issues or deficiencies in the property, they must inform the owner without delay.
Customers are responsible for keeping the property tidy during their stay and for washing their own dishes.
At the end of the stay, the customer is responsible for basic cleaning, including:
leaving the space tidy
disposing of trash in the designated bins
washing dishes if used
If the property is left unclean, Metsä-Nummelan Tila may charge cleaning costs 50 €/hour (minimum 50 €) plus any costs from external cleaning services if needed.
Pets are allowed in the Pyyköntupa sauna cottage.

Tree Accommodation – Special Conditions
Check-in: after 15:00
Check-out: before 12:00
Guests must keep the tree accommodation and surrounding area clean. Trash must be placed in the designated waste containers.
Dirty shoes or muddy equipment are not allowed inside the tree accommodation.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or surrounding environment. Movement in the area should follow marked paths and boardwalks.
Guests must respect nature and avoid disturbing birds and wildlife.
The following are strictly prohibited:
excessive alcohol use
smoking (except in designated smoking area in the main yard)
use of drugs
Open fire is allowed only at the designated campfire place and must never be left unattended. Fires are strictly prohibited during forest fire warnings.
Do not burn plastics in the fire and do not dry equipment above the fire.

For safety, guests are recommended to have personal accident insurance. Metsä-Nummelan Tila is not responsible for accidents caused by negligence or natural conditions.
Guests should ensure their phones are sufficiently charged in case of emergencies.

Rental Equipment – Special Conditions
Customers must familiarize themselves with the safety and usage instructions of the rented equipment.
Equipment must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose. The renter is responsible for checking the equipment during the rental period.
Rental equipment:
may not be taken outside Finland
may not be sub-rented to others
must be used according to the user's skill level
All equipment is used at the customer's own risk.
Equipment must be returned clean and in the same condition as received at the agreed time and place. If the return is delayed, the renter must notify the owner immediately. A 50% increased rental fee may be charged for late returns unless otherwise agreed.
Customers are responsible for any damage caused by careless use, incorrect handling, or insufficient maintenance. Lost or destroyed equipment must be compensated at full replacement value.
The owner is responsible for repairs caused by normal wear and tear but is not liable for any indirect or direct damages caused by equipment malfunction.

Customer Responsibility
By booking through metsanummela.fi, the customer agrees to follow these terms.
If bookings are made through other platforms such as Booking.com, Matkaparkki.com or Nettikaravaani, the terms and conditions of those platforms may also apply.

The customer is responsible for damages caused intentionally or negligently by the customer to the seller or third parties.

Cancellation and Modification

Cancellations and Changes
Bookings made by email, phone, or through the website can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the arrival date. Cancellations made later will be charged 50% of the booking price.
The booking date can be changed once free of charge, subject to availability within the same season/year. Tree accommodation is available from early May to the end of September. Requests for date changes must be made at least 7 days before the original arrival date.
The cancellation date is the day when Metsä-Nummelan Tila receives the cancellation notice. The customer is responsible for ensuring the cancellation is sent in time.

Owner’s Right to Cancel
In the event of force majeure, Metsä-Nummelan Tila may cancel the booking. The customer will be informed without delay.
In such cases, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the paid booking amount.

Force Majeure

Metsä-Nummelan Tila shall not be liable for the cancellation of an order or reservation or other damage resulting from a force majeure event beyond Metsä-Nummelan Tila's control, which the seller could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of the transaction and the consequences of which Metsä-Nummelan Tila could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.

Notices and Complaints

Damages, Liability and Complaints
Damages
The customer is responsible for compensating any damage caused to the property of Metsä-Nummelan Tila. The person making the booking is also responsible for the actions of all guests visiting during the reservation period.
Guests are recommended to have valid personal accident insurance. Metsä-Nummelan Tila is not liable for damages or accidents caused by the negligence of guests.
Metsä-Nummelan Tila is not responsible for inconvenience or costs caused by natural conditions, such as insects, animals, difficult road conditions, sudden weather changes, power outages, or noise caused by external sources.

Liability
The customer is responsible for keeping the property in good condition and reasonably clean during the stay.
Metsä-Nummelan Tila has liability insurance covering damages directly caused by its personnel’s actions or negligence.

Complaints
Any complaints must be reported as soon as possible after the issue arises.
If the issue cannot be resolved on site, a written complaint must be submitted within one month after the rental period ends.
Metsä-Nummelan Tila aims to process complaints as quickly as possible, within one month at the latest.
If no agreement can be reached, the customer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

The parties shall endeavor to resolve disputes arising from the agreement primarily through negotiations. If no agreement is reached in negotiations, disputes shall be settled in the district court of the seller's domicile. This agreement is governed by Finnish law.

This online store has been implemented on the Joiku Booking online store platform. Joiku Booking (Comgate Oy, 2663001-9) does not provide, own, or control any services or products such as accommodations, activities, or transportation services that you access through this site.

The owner of this online store, Metsä-Nummelan Tila, owns, controls, or offers services or products directly or as an agent. The seller is responsible for the service or product sold. The seller's terms apply to your booking, so you must accept and understand these terms. Joiku Booking is not responsible for any issues related to booking, use, implementation, or delivery of the service or product.

Ordering

Products are primarily ordered through the internet via the online store's shopping cart.

All orders will be confirmed via email, indicating the order price and ordered items. To receive the order confirmation, provide your email address during the order process.

By placing each order, you agree to the current seller's terms of service.

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available in the online store: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Alandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Aktia, Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Oma Säästöpankki, Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Payment is processed through the Paytrail Oyj website.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as the payment intermediary and provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payee on your account statement or credit card bill and will transmit the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license.

Order and Payment Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by email, including:

  • List of ordered products
  • Total invoice amount
  • Tax breakdown
You will receive a payment confirmation from Paytrail Oyj, including the payment amount, payment reference, and date. In case you have any questions regarding the payment transaction, please primarily contact the seller. You can also contact Paytrail (020 718 1830 / asiakaspalvelu@paytrail.com).

Should there be any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Finnish versions of the Terms and Conditions, the Finnish version shall prevail.
